The knockout matches of the continued Vijay Hazare Trophy, the nationwide ODI championship, will probably be held in Delhi from March 7. The matches will probably be organised on the Arun Jaitley Stadium and the Palam Ground. “…Kindly note that the knock-out stage of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2020-21 will be played at New Delhi from March 7,” acknowledged a mail despatched from the BCCI secretary’s workplace to all of the affiliated state items on February 25, a duplicate of which is in possession of PTI.
Currently the league stage of the event is being performed in bio-secure bubbles at completely different venues throughout the nation.
The groups have been divided into 5 Elite Groups and one Plate Group.
As per the BCCI web site, the pre-quarter remaining (Eliminator) will probably be performed on March 7, whereas the quarter-finals will probably be performed on March eight and March 9.
The two semi-finals will probably be staged on March 11 whereas the summit conflict will probably be performed on March 14.
This is the second home event carried out by the BCCI within the curtailed 2020-21 home season, following the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the nationwide T20 championship.
