Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir authorities has dismissed from service a deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir police who has been cost sheeted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for allegedly offering help to Hizbul Mujahideen and two Kupwara-based lecturers “in the interest of the security of the state.”
An order on this regard by Commissioner/Secretary of the Government General Administration Department, states that the Lieutenant Governor after contemplating the info and circumstances of the case and on the premise of the knowledge obtainable that the actions of Davinder Singh Deputy Superintendent Jan, S/o Deedar Singh R/o Overigund Tral, Pulwama are equivalent to to warrant his dismissal from service.
