Shoaib Akhtar criticised the anthem for the upcoming version of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and fairly hilariously went on to say that the tune launched by PSL had “scared my children.” Shoaib posted a video on Twitter to specific his frustration on the tune and wrote: “Really disappointed by the anthem this year. Is this how you’re taking PSL brand up? Going down every year. Kon banata hai yeh (Who makes such songs). The anthem titled “Aaj Dekhe Ga Crowd Mera Groove TV Pe” was launched on February 6.
Really disenchanted by the anthem this yr. Is this how you are taking PSL model up? Going down yearly. Kon banata hai yeh.

Shoaib was scathing in his criticism and stated, “Such poor composition. Such a poor song!
“Who from the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) gave this concept?”
He continued, “You guys have scared my kids. They have not been speaking to me for 3 days due to you,” before breaking into a wry smile, and even more sarcastically threatened the PCB with a court case.
Shoaib then took the literal meaning of “groove” to drive home his point. “Groove means a drain,” he roared.
PSL had in December last year announced that Player of the Tournament from the 2020 edition Babar Azam remained in the Platinum category of the players and he was joined by Karachi Kings teammates Imad Wasim and Mohammed Amir.
All-rounder Shadab Khan remained in Platinum category while Faheem Ashraf moved down to Diamond category.
The 2021 edition of the tournament will run from February 20 to March 22 and will played in Karachi and Lahore.
The Qualifier is scheduled for March 18 whereas Eliminators 1 and a couple of will likely be performed on March 19 and 20, all in Lahore.
Lahore may even host the ultimate on March 22.
