Jaipur: Congress youth wing National Students’ Union of India on Tuesday kicked began a novel marketing campaign to gather funds from college students for the development of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Named as ‘Rs 1 Ram Ke Naam’ (Rs 1 within the title of Lord Ram), the drive was began by NSUI state president Abhishek Chaudhary at Commerce College at Jawaharlal Nehru Road in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. As per studies, practically 100 members of the coed wing of the Congress get together collected contributions from college students within the school in three sealed packing containers on the primary day.
NSUI spokesperson Ramesh Bhati advised information company PTI that every one faculties within the state will likely be lined below this 15-day lengthy marketing campaign and the youth wing would hand over the collected quantity to Ram temple authorities in Ayodhya.
Meanwhile, even the Delhi unit of theh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Feb 1 launched a marketing campaign for gathering donations for the development of Ram temple after get together MP Manoj Tiwari’s proposed ‘Rath Yatra’ in northeast Delhi was postponed owing to the farmers’ protest. Tiwari stated he postponed his ‘Rath Yatra’ in view of the “prevailing situation” within the metropolis.
“The Delhi Police is doing a great job in the prevailing situation. In view of its preoccupation with farmers protest at national capital’s borders and the blast in the city, I decided to postpone the Rath Yatra,” Tiwari advised PTI. He stated the ‘Rath Yatra’ will likely be taken out as soon as the scenario normalises.
The workplace bearers of Delhi BJP-led by get together president Adesh Gupta collected donations from folks throughout the capital metropolis. BJP MP stated although the ‘Rath Yatra’ was postponed, he visited his constituency and picked up donations from the folks there.
“It’s a matter of faith for many people in the country and BJP workers will knock at every door for collecting funds for construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya,” Gupta stated including that the marketing campaign will proceed until February 27.
