Puducherry: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will handle a ballot rally on Tuesday to hunt help for the NDA within the union territory for the 6 April Assembly elections.
This is the Prime Minister’s second go to to Puducherry to marketing campaign for the NDA candidates after having addressed a ballot rally on 25 February after unveiling a number of centrally sponsored improvement initiatives that day.
He will communicate on the rally to be held on the AFT Thidal, BJP sources stated.
The AINRC, which heads the NDA within the union territory, is contesting from 16 of the whole 30 constituencies, whereas BJP is in search of election from 9 seats and the AIADMK from 5.
AINRC chief and former Chief Minister N Rangasamy is in search of election from two segments – Thattanchavady and Yanam.
Elections in Puducherry will likely be held in a single section on 6 April.
