Nitish, Tejashwi To Meet Pawar And Uddhav In Mumbai Today Amid Bid For Grand Oppn Unity

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Tejashwi Yadav will meet Nationalist Congress Occasion (NCP) president Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray throughout their Mumbai go to on Thursday, as per a JD (U) MLC. This comes because the Janata Dal (United) chief has been assembly Opposition leaders to strengthen the bloc towards the Bharatiya Janata Occasion (BJP) forward of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. He met his Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday in Bhubaneswar after which met his Jharkhand counterpart Hemant Soren in Ranchi on Wednesday and mentioned a number of points. 

The duo will go to Thackeray’s residence and later meet Pawar at his residence. Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD)’s Tejashwi Yadav can have lunch at Matoshree, the personal residence of Uddhav Thackeray in suburban Bandra, mentioned JD (U) MLC Kapil Patil, as per information company PTI.

They’ll meet Pawar at his south Mumbai residence ‘Silver Oak’ within the night, he added.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had caught the nationwide creativeness along with his pitch for a “united opposition” which, he believes, can tackle and defeat the BJP in subsequent 12 months’s Lok Sabha polls.

The JD(U) supreme chief, who shocked the BJP final 12 months when he severed ties and stripped the saffron social gathering of energy, is coming to Mumbai at a time when the western state is witnessing political turbulence.

Pawar on Monday mentioned he and Nitish Kumar will meet when the latter visits Mumbai on Could 11.

“Our outlook is that another (to the BJP authorities) is required within the nation. Those that want to contribute to it, be it Nitish or Mamata (West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress chief), in my opinion all of us must work collectively for a similar,” the NCP chief mentioned, as quoted by PTI.
