The first picture within the collection is of Bombetoka Bay in Madagascar. An equivalent picture of the bay was posted by NASA in April, final 12 months. The second picture was that of Richat Structure in Mauritania. Measuring about 40 km in diameter, the Richat Structure is likely one of the peculiar options of the Sahara desert and has been recognised and noticed by astronauts from outer house for lengthy.

This was adopted by a picture of the Everglades of South Florida. Everglades is a pure area of tropical wetlands, 20 % of which is protected by the Everglades National Park. With its distinctive ecosystem, it has discovered its place as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an International Biosphere Reserve, and a Wetland of International Importance.

The ultimate picture within the collection was that of the frozen Dnieper river in Europe. A weblog put up by NASA mentioned that the picture was captured by European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet, from ISS on February 9, 2017. About the picture, Thomas mentioned, “Winter landscapes are also magical from the International Space Station: this river north of Kiev reminds me of a Hokusai painting.”
