New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will make a press release in Rajya Sabha on Thursday concerning ‘Present Situation in Eastern Ladakh’, the ministry tweeted hours after Chinese Defence Ministry claimed that each nations have began pulling again troops, armoured parts together with tanks and infantry fight parts from the south and north banks of the Pangong Lake in jap Ladakh. “The Chinese and Indian frontline troops at the southern and northern bank of the Pangong Tso Lake start synchronised and organised disengagement from February 10,” the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of National Defence, Senior Colonel Wu Qian, was quoted by Chinese media shops.
“This move is in accordance with the consensus reached by both sides at the 9th round of China-India Corps Commander Level Meeting,” the Chinese facet emphasised of their assertion.
After a 16-hour-long marathon ninth spherical of army dialogue, each India and China issued a joint assertion whereby it was said that they’ve agreed to push for an early disengagement of the frontline troops at disputed border areas throughout Line of Actual Control.
