LSG vs CSK, IPL 2022, Live Updates: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the toss and skipper KL Rahul elected to bowl against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match 7 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. At the toss, LSG captain Rahul confirmed that Andrew Tye will make his debut, and will replace Mohsin Khan in the playing XI. Both teams started off their IPL 2022 campaigns with losses, albeit under different circumstances. While LSG lost out to fellow debutants Gujarat Titans, CSK were more or less outplayed by Kolkata Knight Riders in tournament opener. LSG’s batting unit was blown away by the pace and guile of Mohammed Shami, who produced a match-winning spell in the powerplay, dismissing both KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock. Incidentally, Umesh Yadav had bamboozled the CSK batting line-up, before MS Dhoni salvaged some pride with his knock of 50.
