New Delhi: The federal government has prolonged the date for implementation of track and trace system for exports of drug formulations until August 1 this yr. The choice is relevant for each non-SSI (Small Scale Industry) and SSI-manufactured drugs.
“The date for implementation of monitor and hint system for exports of drug formulations with respect to sustaining the parent-child relationship in packaging ranges and its importing on central portal has been prolonged as much as August 1 this yr for each SSI and non-SSI manufactured medicine,” the directorate general of foreign trade (DGFT) mentioned in a public discover.
Earlier, the dates have been prolonged on occasion.
The producer or the exporter of drug formulations must print the barcode as per world commonplace at completely different packaging ranges — major, secondary and tertiary — to facilitate monitoring and tracing of their merchandise.
