As per an official assertion of the police, “On April 5, 2023, officers have been dispatched to a Hindu temple within the 1700 block of Northway Avenue following a report of hate-motivated vandalism. Officers found anti-Hindu and anti-India graffiti sprayed in black on an exterior wall of the constructing.”
“By investigation, officers obtained a video that exhibits two suspects within the space simply after 12 a.m. Within the video, one suspect seems to commit the vandalism on the wall of the constructing whereas the opposite retains watch,” the Windsor police acknowledged.
Elaborating on the main points of the suspects, the police mentioned, “On the time of the incident, one suspect wore a black sweater, black pants with a small white emblem on the left leg, and black and white high-top trainers. The second suspect wore black pants, a sweatshirt black sneakers, and white socks.”
Asking locals to verify their dwelling surveillance cameras, the police urged, “Residents within the rapid neighborhood of the temple are inspired to verify their dwelling surveillance or dashcam video footage between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. for proof of the suspects.”

Earlier on fifteenth February, the Consulate Normal of India in Toronto condemned the defacing of Ram Mandir in Mississauga with anti-India graffiti. The consulate tweeted that it has requested the Canadian authorities to analyze the incident and take immediate motion towards the perpetrators.
“We strongly condemn the defacing of Ram Mandir in Mississauga with anti-India graffiti. We have now requested Canadian authorities to analyze the incident and take immediate motion on perpetrators,” the tweet learn.
Based on PTI, the temple was defaced by ‘Khalistani extremists’ with anti-India graffiti in an obvious hate crime.
“Vandalism occurred in a single day (February thirteenth) on the Shri Ram Mandir in Mississauga, Ontario Canada. We on the Ram Mandir are very disturbed by this incidence and we’re working with the suitable legislation enforcement authority on this matter,” PTI quoted the Fb web page of the temple as saying.
