News agency PTI quoted Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy saying that the the bill has become necessary as there have been ambiguity in certain issues related to the functioning of the Delhi government.
“Please don’t say that it’s a political invoice. It is being introduced to finish ambiguity in sure points as Delhi is a Union Territory. It will finish sure confusion or technicality and improve the effectivity of the administration,” he said.
He went on to say that there has been cordial relations between the central and Delhi governments since 1996 but some issues have comeup since 2015.
