In view of sudden spike in variety of Coronavirus instances in India, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday requested the airport operators to think about imposing spot fines on passengers flouting COVID-19 guidelines.
The aviation authority stated that passengers at some airports have been discovered not sporting face masks correctly and never sustaining social distancing regardless of repeated warnings.

In an official advisory round issued as we speak, DGCA famous, “During the surveillance of some airports, it has come to notice that compliance (of COVID-19 protocols) is not satisfactory. The aviation authority stated that each one airport operators can enhance surveillance on this regard. “The possibility of taking punitive action, such as levy of spot fines in accordance with the law, shall also be explored with the local police authorities so as to serve a deterrent for violation of COVID-19 protocol,” it said within the discover.
